Description
This standard identifies methodologies through which a faulty board can be removed from a system and a replacement board can be inserted while the system continues to operate. The primary motivation for supporting Board Level Live Insertion within the VMEbus environment is to enhance the current VMEbus standard while maximizing the use of existing off-the-shelf VMEbus products.
