Solicitation for voters to create the standard ANSI/VITA 40

Voter registration for ANSI level balloting of the VITA 40, Service and Status Indicator Standard is now open.

Abstract: This standard defines the colors, behaviors, placement, and labeling of service and status indicator lamps for boards, field replaceable units, and enclosures.

Description: The VITA 40 working group has completed the draft and has voted to take the draft through to the ANSI process to be recognized as an ANSI standard. This was a previously withdrawn standard ANSI/VITA 40-2003 (W2013) that is now being revived.
